    Why Yangshuo:

    Those who participated in the first adventure race in Guilin in March 2002 know how stunning the scenery is and how perfect the location is for adventure racing. The North Face Asia ChallengeSeries - Yangshuo, also organized by Seyon Asia Limited, continues in that tradition, but with entirely new course, trails and challenges. Those who participated in the last race will be blown away by how much more great terrain is out there. For those participating for the first time, be ready to be wowed. As the famous Chinese proverb goes, "The scenery in Guilin is the best under heaven and the scenery in Yangshuo is even better than Guilin's." Yangshuo is also a fantastic town in which to chill out, eat, shop and watch the interaction between the best of old and modern China.


    Challenge Events:

    Over the course of 2 days, participants in The North Face Asia Challenge Series - Yangshuo will have to complete the following events:

  • Mountain trail running
  • Mountain biking
  • Paddling native boats and swimming
  • Orienteering
  • Negotiation of an underground cave
  • Various rope challenges on the surrounding limestone cliffs.
